“Lovely apartment, tastefully decorated. Good quality bed linen and towels. Fully equipped kitchen. Location a little out of town but excellent bus service (77) close by and only (€1.50) Hotel just around the corner where we enjoyed a very nice meal. Staff very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.”
“Really nice apartment, very clean, with plenty of space and a nice view over the river. It’s really recommended if you need something more than the usually cramped hotel room, if you want to cook for yourself and all that. It’s not in the city centre but it’s not far from it, actually in walking distance even if on top of a hill. You can park at the nearby Gran Hotel Bilbao for 16 €/day which is nice. Downsides: fridge wasn’t working. There was some noise from some young kids in the apartments across the hall but the reception handled it well.”

The apartment itself was excellent – spacious, well-equipped with everything you could need (dishwasher, washing machine, etc.), and in a fantastic location. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we also really appreciated that it was pet friendly. We also enjoyed the bar food at the sister hotel next door, where Asier, the barman, was exceptionally friendly and attentive. A special mention must go to Esther, the Director, whose warmth and hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Overall, Apartamentos Atxuri is the perfect base for a stay in Bilbao, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. We look forward to returning!”
